Yoga in Practice - Hidden Opportunities to Learn

Jnana yoga does not have to exist within the study of scripture only. We can also learn useful lessons by observing the actions of others. Have you ever noticed that those people who tend to cause new rules to be instituted, never stay in one place very long?

They wear out their welcome fast. They may go through a number of jobs, creating new rules for everyone else, they leave behind. These are the rule breakers of life. In yoga studios, on the job, or out in traffic, they set precedents everywhere they go.

Rule breakers tend to be self-serving and negative about life in general. Everyone owes them something, life is never fair to them, and their surrounding environment is to blame for all the wrongs life has done to them. Their family, job, society, and friends are at fault for their lot in life.

Believe it or not, you can learn a lot by watching a rule breaker in practice. My grandfather used to say, Even the court jester can teach you something. It is very true in this case, as well.

For a start, we can learn how not to act, but there is much more. How are this persons listening skills? Chances are - this person does not listen to others. In fact, part of making lasting friendships, partnerships, and relationships, is to listen to others empathically.

Does this person take responsibility for his or her actions? Usually, this person feels they are smarter than everyone else, but a victim of circumstance when schemes do not have the desired result.

The irony is - a rule breaker will never be navigated by reality, unless he or she makes a big change in attitude. Therefore, always be guided by common sense and ethics.

Game Cheats: Are They "Good" to Use?

game cheats. We've all used them. With computer and console games becoming faster and more advanced, the need for game cheats are becoming more and more important to complete these games. Often we don't have enough time between work and social functions to dedicate enough time to finish an entire game, so game cheats are the way to go.

Whether it be Sony Playstation, nintendo gamecube, microsoft XBox, xbox 360, or computer games, game programmers often allow the player to either enter codes to unlock special weapons, secret levels, grant invulnerability or other ways to boost a characters' growth, or game cheats can be a way of interacting with the game environment to help overcome what seem to be insurmountable situations.

Some gamers consider it bad form to use game cheats. In fact, there are purist gamers who feel that the total experience of gaming is lost once you use cheat codes or game cheats.

"You can't be a Zulu game Wizard using game cheats. game cheats are for people who are too weak and give up too easily in the difficult parts of the games," says longtime gamer Jasper Hom.

Others disagree and argue that they can't appropriate enough time to gaming to make it past the hard parts of the games. Another problem gamers who use game cheats face is that by the time they are able to dedicate enough time to the game, a new game that they would rather play is already out on store shelves.

Whether you use game cheats or not, they are undoubtably a great way for amateur gamers to more enjoy and possibly finish some of today's difficult and challenging games. The game cheats dilemma will always be an ongoing battle between those in the gaming community.

Know Your Golf Courses - The Variations

golf courses do not come in one shape and form. There are plenty of variations and each offers benefits and negatives. The key is to know them and pick the perfect course for that day.

The Public golf Course is open to everyone. There are no expensive memberships required and they are usually located nearby and have very regular hours of operation. Although they are not famous and, in most cases, as attractive and well maintained as their more glamorous private cousins, the Public Golf course is an inexpensive and easy way to either learn the game or hone your skills. They are usually very crowded on weekends and holidays and you may feel rushed or have to wait awhile for your tee off time.

The Municipal golf Course is thought by many people to represent the best value of all. These courses are owned and maintained by a city or county and they are open primarily to residents. Non-residents may also play here, but are generally charged much high rates. They may also be a bit crowded on the weekends. It really depends more on the course and the popularity of golf in the area.

The Daily Fee golf Course is a semi-private type of course that falls in between the public and private courses. There are also hotel and Resort golf Courses that are often the very best maintained. They are usually expensive and play is generally restricted to guests of the hotel, but usually not guests can arrange to play on them. The private golf Courses can be the very best that can be found anywhere, but they are expensive to play on and membership in the owning organization is required. Only members and guests can play on the private courses.

There are other ways of classifying golf courses. There are some different types of golf courses based on size. The executive course, for example, tends to be a bit shorter than a regulation course. There is a higher percentage of par 3 holes and the overall length of holes is smaller than a regulation course. There are also some Par 3 golf Courses. These have only holes that average at least 100 feet in length.

Some people might have their own classification scale for the different types of golf courses they encounter. Ease of play or difficulty might be one basis for comparison. Some people actually look up from their shots long enough to notice the surroundings. They might classify courses based on the beauty of the surrounding scenery. Whatever method you use or whatever your level of interest or skill in playing, there are enough different types of golf courses available to satisfy anyone.
